The Draw for Round the Houses has now been published.
We are pleased this year to have 52 pairs entering the competition and your entry fees have raised £1,040 for our charities. Please play the first round by the end of October to enable us to make the draw for the Consolation Competition. Each round consists of 24 hands unless fewer are agreed beforehand. For those playing face to face please agree either rubber or Chicago scoring. The first named pair should make contact to arrange the match, remembering to ask for user names of opponents if playing online. The nearest scoring to Chicago on BBO is Total Points but if both pairs wish then Match Points may be used. Winners please notify James & Caroline by calling 01544 260574 or by email to james@dipperdesign.com. Those who lose in the first round will automatically be entered into the Consolation competition.
In order to make the draw work out it is necessary for some pairs on each side of the draw to have a bye after round two. We have done this to ensure that every pair has at least two matches. We have to organise the draw to accommodate both those who prefer online or face to face. We hope you enjoy your matches – good luck to all.
